There is even an AI upscaling feature for non-8K content. Needless to say, you also get Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos goodness in the mix. The new chipset is fabbed on TSMC’s 7nm architecture. Well, it is the World’s First 7nm 8K Smart TV chip. Further, it can leverage UFS 3.1 storage and high-speed memory configurations. It also comes with support for Versatile Video Coding (VVC) for H.266 media. You must have come across H.264 and H.265 content before but this can encode in the newer H.266 standard. This brings improved efficiency in content compression. Not just that, the Pentonic 2000 is equipped with decoding in HEVC, VP9, and VS3 formats.
